Pup Raymond

Dr.R L (Pup) Raymond (OBE) was a product of Fivedock Juniors. He became an outstanding Waratah and Wallaby winger playing 13 Tests between 1920 to 1923 scoring 10 tries.

As a Rhodes Scholar he went to Oxford 1924 and was chosen to play for England in 3 Tests.

He came back to play 55 first grade matches for the Drummoyne Club and became the Club Coach from 1948 to 1951. He was the Club's President in 1952 and was a Patron from 1953 to 1963. [Info courtesy of Drummoyne Rugby Club.]
