To switch on/off auto image resizing in Internet Explorer:
In the menu bar locate the "Tools" pull down menu and select "Internet Options".
A window similar to this one should appear.
Select the "Advanced" tab and scroll down until you get to "Multimedia".
Tick "on" "Enable Automatic Image Resizing" for resizing
(images will be shrunk to fit into the browser window).
If you want the changes to effect the current window you will need to
press "Ctrl-F5" or simply close the window and re-open it.
Once you have switched on auto-resizing you can take it to its original
size by moving the mouse over the image and waiting for this symbol
to appear and then clicking on it. Repeat the process (move the mouse
and wait for the symbol and then click on it) to shrink it again.
Note that the image above is from IE version 5.something. Version 6 is very similar
but has different surrounding options.
