 This website contains a selection of letters, postcards
and photographs sent by Harry Gordon Gracie, aged 24, to his parents
and family during a 5½ month world trip in 1924.
Although his family was not wealthy, circumstances took
Harry (or Gordon as he was known then) on this 'trip of a lifetime'.
We hope you enjoy this journey.
It is a simple snapshot of a small part of one man's life.
It is not intended as a history reference for the 1920s but does contain
many links on the path to sites with contemporary, historical and social references.
